A taiwan national has today denied obtaining shs 5 m from another Taiwanese by falsely pretence.
Ku Mi g Hung was charged before Milimani principal Magistrate Gilbert Shikwe .
In the charges the prosecution alleged that on or before 8th August 2023 with nairobi central business District Within Nairobi county he obtained shs 5,000,000 from Shap Da Ling Qiang by falsely pretending that he was in a position to incorporate him in a casino business a fact he knew was false.
The court ordered the matter to be mentioned on 27th may for pretrial.
The magistrate ordered the accused to be released on a cash bail of sha 300,000 or a bond and surety of shs 1 M
