High court has temporarily stopped the prosecution of former Kenya Pipeline MD Charles Tanui and others inthe 30 million shillings corruption case.
This is after the ODPP moved to high court to seeking to terminate the charges against Tanui and two others .
When the matter came today for further hearing before trail magistrate Victor Wakhumile,the ODPP led by state counsel Alexander Muteti,the court was told that they moved to high court and obtained orders stopping the prosecution of the three pending hearing and determination of the case.
Wakhumile was served with the orders and set 3rd of April as the next mention date.
