Trial court told Okoth Obado was not at the scene where Sharon was killed

The murder trial against former Migori Governor Okoth Obado and two others continued today with the 42nd witnesses being cross-examined. Investigations officer Nicholas Ole Sena told the court that Okoth Obado was not at the crime scene on the material day.

ole Sena said that the investigations never established that Obado participated in the alleged abduction of Sharon and the journalist.
“The investigation was that the deceased was abducted Athens killed, we don’t have any knowledge or evidence that he participated in the killing of Sharon,” the court heard
Lawyers representing Obado led by Kioko Kilikumi and Rodgers Sagana further wanted to know whether Obado consented the meetings done
Ole Sena said that there’s no evidence that Obado had the knowledge that of the meetings adding that in the material day Obado was in Karen having a meeting at Raila Odinga’s wife
He said that the  relationship between the former Boss and the deceased Sharon Otieno was an open ended relationship .
According to Ole sena the governor did no wrong saying that he’s in court because of impregnating Sharon adding that there’s nothing wrong with impregnating Sharon who was of age.
“It was never mentioned that the 1st accused was present during the meetings, it was never disclosed whether the 1st accused had any knowledge or aware of the meeting at Gracia Hotel,” court heard
